Monterey Ocean View Craftsman Home for Sale

The kitchen is one of my favorite parts of this old craftsman home.  The cabinets have an old world cottage feel accented by the eclectic mixture of one off decorative tiles collected from all over the world and assembled tastefully as the backsplash for the kitchen countertops.  Like the rest of the home, natural light bathes the kitchen and breakfast nook, making the built in bench an ideal spot to enjoy a cup of Joe and read the morning paper.  The dining room is attached and is spacious enough for a good sized group but has an intimate feel with the warm colored wood ceiling and the wall of glass to the North.

The yard is amazing and is a perfect fit with the craftsman themed home.  There is a stone walkway starting at the curb and leading you all the way to the back yard.  The yard is nicely landscaped with an abundance of color with just enough work to allow those with green thumbs to participate or for those without to allow a landscaper to handle the yard chores.  There are two decks in the back yard plus a fabulous front porch making it possible to enjoy the better weather this part of Monterey tends to get.
